Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she covers all aspects of space, from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space companies and the advent of space tourism. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as an White House reporter for FOX News, covering Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. During that time, she also covered two impeachment proceedings for President Trump and the presdiential 2020 campaign, as well as two administration's efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus. Additionally, she went on numerous journeys with the Vice President and President of the United States, including a top secret visit to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Kristin has worked in the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for over a decade before joining the network. She was awarded the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS station's reporter who was a one-man band. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients, such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin graduated with a Bachelors in Science in journalism from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
